La Liga champions Atletico Madrid have signed Argentina midfielder Rodrigo de Paul from Udinese on a five-year deal.
The 27-year-old has been capped 29 times by Argentina and was part of the squad that won the Copa America in 2021.
De Paul started his career with Racing Club in Argentina before moving to Valencia in 2014. He spent three years with the Spanish club before joining Udinese in 2016.
De Paul has been one of the most impressive midfielders in Serie A in recent seasons, and his performances have earned him a move to one of Europe's top clubs.
Atletico Madrid are believed to have paid a fee of around €35 million for De Paul, who is expected to play a key role in the team's midfield next season.
