Kendrick Lamar Reignites Feud with Drake in New Diss Track

Escalating Conflict

In a recent development in the ongoing feud between Kendrick Lamar and Drake, Lamar has released a second diss track targeting Drake. Titled "616 in LA," the track follows Lamar's previous diss "The Heart Pt. 5," which was released on Sunday.

Origins of the Feud

The conflict between Lamar and Drake has its roots in a series of perceived slights and cryptic lyrics over the years. Lamar's 2015 album "To Pimp a Butterfly" featured a verse that was interpreted as a reference to Drake. Drake responded with "Summer Sixteen," which included lines that many fans believed were directed at Lamar.

The feud escalated in 2017 when Lamar's collaborator Boi-1da released a remix of Lamar's song "Control," which featured a verse from Drake. Lamar did not appear on the remix, leading to speculation that he was unhappy with Drake's involvement.

The latest escalation in the feud began with Drake's recent collaboration with Metro Boomin, Future, and the Weeknd on the song "No Stylist." Lamar's diss track "The Heart Pt. 5" responded to perceived slights in the song. Drake has not yet publicly responded to Lamar's latest diss, but the feud is expected to continue.
